Friends of the Earth Norway`s Work

Friends of the Earth Norway’s work programme is adopted at the biannual general meeting. Developing FoEN as a tool for public participation and voluntary environmental work is always at the core of the programme. An overall goal is to build a strong public opinion in favour of protecting our environment. Hence communication with society on all levels and professional information dissemination are central, integral parts of FoEN’s work.

The 2005 – 2007 work programme sets out the following priorities:

  • Strengthening the organisation

Other issues:
Sustainable consumption and production

The polar fox
Friends of the Earth Norway has adopted the polar fox as a symbol for the overall fight to save the environment.
