Many feel a pressure to buy new things for friends and family, even though they actually want to contribute to a more environmentally friendly Christmas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the best things to do to reduce consumption is to tell friends and family that you yourself want reused gifts. Many want to give used gifts, but are worried about how the recipient will react, so if you speak up it eases that concern!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 29%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>Or maybe you have everything you need? Then you can say that you don\u2019t want anything, or wish for a donation to an organisation that you support.
