Naturvernforbundet advarer mot at dette til sammen kan bli norgeshistoriens st\u00f8rste naturinngrep. P\u00e5 et debattm\u00f8te advarte Gabriel Fliflet, leder i Naturvernforbundet Hordaland mot dette: De mange motorveiplanene er et gufs fra fortidens tro p\u00e5 ut\u00f8ylet massebilisme. Vi b\u00f8r i stedet ta vare p\u00e5 de veiene vi har. Etterslepet p\u00e5 vedlikehold fylkesveiene i Hordaland er enormt. La oss sikre v\u00e5re mange farlige veier, la dem f\u00e5 veiskuldre som ikke gir etter, la dem som trenger det f\u00e5 en gul midtstripe, gi gang- og sykkelvei: La oss oppgradere til trefelts vei der det er n\u00f8dvendig. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>P\u00e5 debattm\u00f8tet var stortingskandidater fra de politiske partiene invitert for \u00e5 fortelle om de st\u00f8tter oss i kampen for naturen og mot motorveiplanene i fylket v\u00e5rt.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Mange politikere lukker \u00f8ynene. De vil ikke h\u00f8re, ikke vite, ikke se. Ja, noen politikere later til \u00e5 v\u00e6re villig til et hvilket som helst inngrep for \u00e5 bygge motorvei.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De ofrer matjord, deler bygder i to, \u00f8delegger naturreservater. Folk rundt i landet begynner \u00e5 se med egne \u00f8yne hva det betyr \u00e5 f\u00e5 110 km-motorveier gjennom bygden. Men ofte f\u00f8rst n\u00e5r det er for sent, sa Gabriel Fliflet, leder i Naturvernforbundet Hordaland i debatten.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fliflet pekte ogs\u00e5 p\u00e5 at <a href=\"https:\/\/naturvernforbundet.no\/hordaland\/stans-hordfast\/\">bygging Hordfast strider mot vedtatte m\u00e5l<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Rundt Hordfast har konfliktniv\u00e5et har v\u00e6rt h\u00f8yt. Det tar gjerne vi i Naturvernforbundet v\u00e5r del av \u00e6ren for. Vi har kjempet med nebb og kl\u00f8r mot dette prosjektet. Selve grunntanken bak Hordfast er et sp\u00f8kelse fra en forgangen tid: Planen er \u00e5 jo f\u00e5 flere folk til \u00e5 reise lenger, \u00e5 overf\u00f8re trafikk fra sj\u00f8 til vei, for s\u00e5 \u00e5 femdoble den. \u00c9n million nye biler inn mot Bergensomr\u00e5det allerede det f\u00f8rste \u00e5ret etter \u00e5pningen! Dette planlegger vi, samtidig som Staten stiller strenge krav til storbyene om nullvekst i privatbiltrafikken &#8211; ellers f\u00e5r de ikke midlene til kollektiv, sykkel og gange. \u00c5 presse nye motorveier inn mot Bergen, vil gj\u00f8re det umulig \u00e5 klare nullvekstm\u00e5let, sa Fliflet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Debatten fikk godt frem de politiske forskjellene mellom partiene. Ikke alle er enige i Naturvernforbundets standpunkt om \u00e5 stoppe Hordfast. Det var likevel gledelig \u00e5 se at flere partier n\u00e5 tar til orde for \u00e5 nedskalere prosjektet, og revurdere b\u00e5de dimensjonering og hastighet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; At b\u00e5de Senterpartiet og Arbeiderpartiet n\u00e5 \u00e5pner opp for \u00e5 revurdere dimensjoneringen av dette gigantiske prosjektet er sv\u00e6rt gledelig. Fra f\u00f8r har SV, R\u00f8dt og MDG stilt krav om \u00e5 legge vekk prosjektet. &nbsp;Til og med de store motorveipartiene begynner visst \u00e5 ta inn over seg at Hordfast er fort stort, dyrt og
