Torpet &nbsp;er vernet etter kulturminneloven. Mer enn 94 plantearter finnes der. Dessuten er to s\u00e5rbare arter registrert; solblom og <a href=\"https:\/\/artsdatabanken.no\/lister\/rodlisteforarter\/2021\/24626\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gulfotmetallblomsterflue<\/a>.
