Omr\u00e5det ble vernet for \u00e5 ta vare p\u00e5 et rikt fugleliv knyttet til gruntvannsomr\u00e5dene og strandengene langs Randsfjorden. Her finner trekkfugler viktige rasteplasser, og mange arter hekker i omr\u00e5det. Vernet er et godt eksempel p\u00e5 hvordan tilrettelegging og beskyttelse av leveomr\u00e5der er avgj\u00f8rende for \u00e5 bevare naturmangfoldet. Denne kvelden f\u00e5r vi bes\u00f8k av Anne Gri Stenbr\u00e5ten, leder i BirdLife Hadeland, som vil fortelle om R\u00f8ykenvika og andre viktige fugleomr\u00e5der p\u00e5 Hadeland. Hun vil ogs\u00e5 dele kunnskap om hvordan naturforvaltning, restaurering og vern bidrar til \u00e5 sikre gode leveomr\u00e5der for fugler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ta med noe \u00e5 drikke og matpakke, s\u00e5 tar vi en rolig stund ved den flotte Randsfjorden, nyter sommerkvelden og setter av tid til en samtale rundt fugler og naturglede. Det blir ogs\u00e5 god anledning til \u00e5 stille sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l til b\u00e5de Naturvernforbundet og BirdLife. Arrangementet passer for alle med interesse for natur og fugleliv!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vi m\u00f8tes ved D\/S Oscar II kl. 18.00. Se etter vimpelen til Naturvernforbundet. Vi ser an forholdene om det er egnet for enkel tur langs Ivistubekken til Kruka eller om vi g\u00e5r relativt rett til fugletittert\u00e5rnet.
